The primary purpose of the Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School athletics program is to assist students in growing and maturing into responsible members of the church, school and community, by providing them the opportunities to learn and practice skills, good sportsmanship, sharing their faith through their actions, leadership, teamwork, motivation and goal setting, and to equip them for good physical and spiritual health in later life.
The co-curricular activity program of Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School (WVLHS) is a vital part of its Christian educational program. Its primary purpose is to assist students in growing and maturing into responsible members of the church, school and community. As participants in activities, students are, and will continue to be an important part of school life. This philosophy has resulted in the establishment of certain standards for students. These include standards of behavior in the area of school attendance, academic achievement, and proper conduct. As co-curricular activities are an integral part of our school curriculum, it is the goal of WVLHS to offer a program of co-curricular activities that provides opportunities for boys and girls to learn skills, good sportsmanship, sharing their faith through their actions, leadership, the importance of teamwork, motivation and goals. We further believe that participants must recognize the value of good physical and spiritual health and conditioning and the role they play in competition/participation during the high school years and in later life.
Wisconsin Valley Lutheran is a member of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and Central Wisconsin Confernece (CWC) Small Division participating in Soccer, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball, Track & Field, Golf, Baseball, and Softball.
